Reunited for the first time since Heat, it's Al Pacino and Robert De Niro as weathered, old, tough, New York City cops who are hunting down a vigilante killer. I honestly can't say I'm holding my breath for this one, but I'll watch it on DVD.

The release of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been pushed back to 2009. Blaming the writer's strike for a lag, WB has moved Harry Potter to the summer to draw a bigger audience.

After a four weekend reign, The Dark Knight has finally been dethroned from its number one spot this past weekend by Ben Stiller's comedy Tropic of Thunder. The Dark Knight may have lost his hold on first place, but don't you worry, they've collected a cool $16.8 million.

Cthulhu is a film based on the short story The Shadow Over Innsmouth written by the father of modern horror H. P. Lovecraft and his now popular shared universe  Cthulhu Mythos. A concept which, by itself seems like a fairly interesting project.

RIP: Bernie Mac (50) and Isaac Hayes (65)


It's a sad day in Hollywood with the premature deaths of two stars, just one day after comedian and actor Bernie Mac died early on Saturday morning, soul legend Isaac Hayes has also died.
